DKNY Fashion Fall 2008 Preview

A really good look at the DKNY Fashion Fall Collections for both men and women.

The Catwalk: Resort Wear 2009

As you may or may not be aware, the calendar used by the fashion industry is very, very different than ours. In point of fact, while we've been discussing spring-summer fashion for 2008, they have moved on to 2009.

While perusing  the look books for Resort 2009 (the clothing will be in the retail stores somewhere around November-December 2008), I snagged a few looks from Christian Dior to give you a sneak peak.

The trends for women's fashion in 2009 don't seem to be all that  different than what we've seen in 2008. See my notes below the images for details. Enjoy, and let me know what you think. As always, click the image to view a larger version.

 
Vibrant color is still key, but the colors have been grayed down for 2009. Note the girly looks and the ruffles.
