She's Got the Look: Classically Elegant or Totally Boring?

 

When putting together the clothing and accessories for this feature (She's Got the Look), I have to restrain myself from posting only my own preferences. I tend to be a purist, and go for looks that are very classic, and elegant, although some might call them "boring".

As an example, last week I posted a look that would be suitable for clubbing or dinner out, but the reality is that while I enjoy the look, and might wear the dress, I tend to turn to my fav stand-by's.......the ubiquitous little black or white dress.

The looks featured in this post are for when you really would like  something just a little bit dressier. Are they boring? You tell me........maybe I should climb out of my rut, but honestly, I'm perfectly comfortable here!

I've always like the little black dress, picture Angelina Jolie in Mr and Mrs Black. White is a non-color what can only be worn successfully by some women but the little black dress should be in ever woman's wardrobe

I agree, Carl. I only wear white in the summer, when I have a tan.......otherwise it tends to make me look washed out.
